Catching up on the last two weeks. Day 41

Last weekend was the Spring Middle School Loft Retreat. Great job Ben and Eric in organizing it this time. Thanks to all the leaders; Aja, Chey, Keith, Ken, Ben, Eric and myself. What a great time seeking God and His Word on Building a Firm Foundation for our lives. Establishing that firm foundation in middle school is so important.

While on the retreat I had the chance to go for a training ride. I forgot many things for my bike ride but I found I can do without, socks work fine for gloves. :)  I rode from the cabin in Halifax, PA to Peter's mountain (again), out Clark's Valley Road and over the mountain again and back, 38 miles. That second over the mountain was crazy steep. I could only imagine that I was riding up Mount Evans in Colorado which we hope to attempt in July.

Blogging is a challenge for me because I am one to live life in God's presence and let my life shine for Him and I tend to not broadcast what I am doing. But so others can be a part of the work of God in this part of His Kingdom I will attempt to be faithful.

Two songs that really describe my heart at this time in the Trek-a-Cross journey are from the group Fee, Burn for You and Broadcast (See Next Blog)
